Scripture : ” For we have great joy and consolation in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother.” Philemon 1:7 NKJV
Observation : Philemon was a disciple who showed love to other disciples in a tangible way. His way of life encouraged others and gave them great joy!
As I reflect on our way of life as a church, I wonder, does our lifestyle bring joy to others? What do we need to do in order to refresh the hearts of the saints? Let us show love to God and others the way that Philemon did.
Application : I will SHOW Love to others based on my relationship with God. I will refresh the hearts of others when they see and hear of my actions which come from my love for God and fellow disciples.
Prayer : Father God help us all to live in love like Jesus showed us to, because doing so will bring great joy and consolation to others. Help us to be faithful to Your commands I pray, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen. What the church lacks is love. True love for our creator and brothers and sisters.
