Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.
Daniel 10:12 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Petition: something asked or requested, an earnest request.
Is there something in the WORD of God that you do not understand?
Who do you go to gain understanding of God’s WORD?
Daniel had been given a vision by God and was wondering what it truly meant, so he prayed to God for understanding. He did not pray just one day, but for 21 days. He did not stop praying for understanding until God gave it to him.
The angel informed Daniel that from the very first day that he prayed, God had sent him with the answer to Daniel’s prayer.
What we can see from this verse is that Daniel was persistent in prayer. He did not stop petitioning God until the answer came.
Are you like Daniel who will not stop asking God for what you need until He gives it?
Do you want to understand God’s WORD?
Keep petitioning God until you receive His answer!
Prayer: Father God, I want to know Your expressed and manifested mind and will. I have been reading Your WORD, and sometimes I really don’t understand it. I have been listening to Your WORD and sometimes I don’t understand aspects of it.
Father God, give me understanding of Your WORD. Give me understanding of Your WORD. Give me understanding of Your WORD. Amen.
