Petition God for Sight

By Andrew Williams

Bartimaeus threw aside his coat, jumped up, and came to Jesus. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked. “My Rabbi,” the blind man said, “I want to see!”
Mark 10:50‭-‬51 NLT‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Good morning fellow disciples.

Petition: something asked or requested, an earnest request.

Are you blind?

The blind man in this passage knew who Jesus was. When he heard that Jesus was passing by, he began to shout to get Jesus‘ attention. When he did, he asked Jesus for what he wanted.

Do you know who Jesus is?

Do you know how to get His attention?
The Lord says that if we seek Him, we will find Him if we seek Him with all our heart. Are you doing that?

Have you gotten His attention?

Have you asked Him for what you want?

Are you spiritually blind and desire to see? Ask God to make you see!

Prayer: Lord God, I don’t see well. Please improve my eyesight.

Lord God, I am spiritually blind. Give me spiritual sight. Amen.
