So if you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him.”
Luke 11:13 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Petition: something asked or requested, an earnest request.
Have you earnestly petitioned Father God for His Holy Spirit?
Hear the word of God:
1. Then I saw a Lamb that looked as if it had been slaughtered, but it was now standing between the throne and the four living beings and among the twenty-four elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which represent the sevenfold Spirit of God that is sent out into every part of the earth. Revelation 5:6 NLT
2. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. John 14:16-17 NLT
God’s Holy Spirit is sent out into the world. Jesus has petitioned Father God to send His Holy Spirit who will never leave you, and who will lead you into all truth.
Here’s the thing, the world can’t receive Him because they are not looking for Him, and the don’t recognize Him. But you my fellow disciples can receive Him!
Ask and you will receive!

God wants to give His Holy Spirit to those who can receive Him. Will you ask Him today?
Prayer: Father God, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord, Savior, and King. Father, You are my God!
Father God, give me Your Holy Spirit I pray, amen.
