Acts of the Apostles 4:8-9 NLT Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of our people, are we being questioned today because we’ve done a good deed for a crippled man? Do you want to know how he was healed?
Good morning fellow disciples.
When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, and doing God’s will, people will notice that there is something different about you. This was what happened to the disciples after they were filled with the Holy Spirit.
Imbued with the power of the Holy Spirit Peter had healed a crippled man. Afterwards, Peter was arrested for preaching that through Jesus there was resurrection of the dead, to the crowd that had gathered when the man was healed.
Having been filled with the Holy Spirit Peter boldly proclaimed the Gospel to the Sanhedrin and priests, without fear of punishment.
Do you boldly stand up and proclaim the gospel?
Do you heal the sick?
Do you faithfully follow the leading of the Holy Spirit?
Prayer: Father God, we will boldly proclaim the gospel and heal the sick. Amen.
