Acts of the Apostles 13:9 NLT -Saul, also known as Paul, was filled with the Holy Spirit, and he looked the sorcerer in the eye.
Good morning fellow disciples.
Remember that we are at war with the enemies of God. Sometimes they remain hidden and sometimes they are right in our faces. What do you do when they appear in front of you?
Do you run and hide?
Do you make your exit to go to church or to call on another believer who you believe is stronger than you in faith?
Or do you stand and face them like the empowered disciple that you are?
While Paul was in Cyprus, he was challenged by a sorcerer who had attached himself to the governor who had invited Paul to preach the gospel to him. The governor wanted to hear the good news. However, this sorcerer interfered and urged the governor not to listen to Paul.
What did Paul do?
He confronted the sorcerer and told him that the Lord would make him blind. Instantly, he became blind. When the governor saw what had happened, he became a believer in Jesus Christ!
Fellow disciple, you are empowered to do the work of God. Confront the enemy and defeat them!
Prayer: Holy Spirit, together we will confront the enemy and defeat them. Amen.
