My Identity in Christ- I Am Very Bold

By Andrew Williams

2 Corinthians 3:12 (NLT): “Since we have such a hope, we are very bold.”

Good morning fellow disciples.

Let us turn our hearts to a verse that speaks of confidence, of assurance, of a boldness that transcends fear and self-doubt: the boldness we find in Christ.

This boldness isn’t self-assuredness or arrogance; it’s a confident assurance rooted in our faith in Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit within us. It’s a boldness that comes from knowing we are loved unconditionally, accepted completely, and empowered immeasurably by our Heavenly Father. It’s a boldness that allows us to step out in faith, even when we are afraid, even when the path ahead is uncertain.

Think about the areas of your life where you may be hesitant, where fear or self-doubt hold you back. Perhaps you are hesitant to share your faith, to speak up for what is right, or to pursue a dream that seems too audacious. Whatever the area, remember the boldness you have in Christ. His love empowers you, His grace sustains you, and His Spirit guides you. You are not alone; you have the strength and courage of the Almighty God flowing through you.

This understanding empowers us to live with confidence, purpose, and unwavering hope. Knowing we are bold in Christ, we are not intimidated by the challenges of life. We are not afraid to step out in faith, to take risks for the sake of the Gospel, and to pursue His purposes with unwavering determination. The world may try to silence us, but the boldness of Christ within us will break through.

Our task, then, is to actively cultivate this boldness, to allow it to transform our actions and our words. Today, I challenge you to identify one specific area where you can step out in boldness. Perhaps it’s sharing your faith with a friend, speaking up for justice in your community, or pursuing a dream you’ve put on hold. Pray for courage and guidance, asking God to empower you to act with boldness. Let your actions be a testament to the transformative power of faith and the unwavering confidence we find in Christ.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of boldness found in Christ. We thank You for the courage You provide, the strength You empower, and the unwavering hope You inspire. Help us to step out in faith this week, to overcome our fears and doubts, and to pursue Your purposes with unwavering determination. May our actions be a testament to the transformative power of Your love and the confident assurance we find in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
