Yes, I have more insight than my teachers, for I am always thinking of your laws. I am even wiser than my elders, for I have kept your commandments.
Psalms 119:99-100 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
In these two verses the psalmist makes the bold statements that he has more insights than his teachers, and that he is wiser than his elders. Why was this possible?
1. He was always meditating on God’s laws, and
2. He kept God’s commandments.
The psalmist implies that his continuous meditation and obedience elevated him above his teachers and elders.
This reminds me of a classmate of mine in high school who loved Physics so much that he spent most of his time reading and thinking about the subject. In that class sometimes the teacher himself would call this student to identify certain equipment, and then proceeded to ask this young man to teach him how to use them!
Wow! This boy was smart!
Fellow disciples, are you smarter, have more insights than your teachers, and are wiser than your elders?

Prayer: Father God, I want my insight and wisdom to increase! I know the secret! I will consistently meditate on Your WORD and obey You always!
Help my fellow disciples to do the same, Lord. Amen
