Luke 20:45 NLT- Then, with the crowds listening, he turned to his disciples and said,

Good morning fellow disciples.
We need to listen to Jesus’ warnings. Jesus came to proclaim the Kingdom of God, but he knew that persons were misrepresenting God. He was concerned about how religious people were behaving.
This is what Jesus said.
Luke 20:46-47 NLT -[46] “Beware of these teachers of religious law! For they like to parade around in flowing robes and love to receive respectful greetings as they walk in the marketplaces. And how they love the seats of honor in the synagogues and the head table at banquets. [47] Yet they shamelessly cheat widows out of their property and then pretend to be pious by making long prayers in public. Because of this, they will be severely punished.”
Let us pay thoughtful attention to Jesus’ words!
Beware of Hypocritical religious leaders who misrepresent God!
Prayer: Father God, we are thankful that You have written Your commandments on our hearts, and that You have given us Your Holy Spirit to teach and guide us.
Help us to identify these false/hypocritical leaders and help us not to fall prey to them.
We have listened to Your warning, Lord Jesus. We examine ourselves Lord, and if we are one of those you have spoken of, we fall on our knees confessing and repenting of our sins. We wholeheartedly submit to live the way You desire us to. Amen.
