Romans 2:13 NLT- For merely listening to the law doesn’t make us right with God. It is obeying the law that makes us right in his sight.
Good morning, fellow disciples.
Listen and obey!
Hear something with thoughtful attention and follow the commands or guidance of someone, or conform to or comply with what you heard!
Many of us are good at listening, but very poor at being obedient.
If you want to be in right standing with God you need to both listen and obey!
If you want to be a disciple of Jesus Christ you need to listen to him and obey him!
If you want to inherit eternal life you need to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior. You do this by listening to the gospel and obeying what you heard!
God wants us to live forever with Him. However, for this to occur we have to be holy. We become holy when we listen to God and obey God.
Do you want to be a member of the family of God?
Listen and obey!
Prayer: Father God, I want to live eternally with You! I will listen to and obey You in all things. Amen.
