For the ruthless one will vanish, the scorner will disappear, and all those who lie in wait with evil intent will be killed —

Good morning fellow disciples.
Wait: To stay; not to depart.
Lie in wait: to hide and wait for the right moment to make an attack.
Are you waiting on God while others lie in wait for you? Do you at times wonder why God hasn’t shown up to rescue you as yet? As you see evil persons prosper while you, a child of God suffers, do you become despondent?
Don’t despair! Our Almighty God is a just God! He always takes care of His faithful children. Remain faithful and you will see Him act on your behalf.
When God shows up those who lie in wait with evil intent will be judged. All you need to do is to be faithful to God as you wait.
Prayer: Father God, I will wait on You. I see those who would seek to harm me, and I feel helpless against them. But You are my protector, and I believe in Your word which states that I will be rescued, “For the ruthless one will vanish, the scorner will disappear, and all those who lie in wait with evil intent will be killed —“.
I ask You to show up mightily for me Lord God, and defeat my enemies, because I put all my trust in You. Thank You Lord. Thank You Lord! Amen.
