Intercede for The Place Where God Sends You

By Andrew Williams

And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”
Jeremiah 29:7 NLT

Good morning fellow disciples.

Do you feel as if you are being punished by God because He has sent you to work, live, or minister in a place that you do not like?

Are you among people that are persecuting you, people that are difficult to work with, or people who are hard to reach with the gospel?

Hear the Word of the Lord: “And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.” Jeremiah 29:7 NLT

Are you doing this?

If you are not, change your mindset and start interceding for the place and people that God has sent you to. Let’s start interceding now!

Prayer: Father God, as Your Kingdom citizens we sometimes feel as if we are in exile in this sinful world. We are among people who hate and dishonor You. They hate and persecute us Lord. Honestly, we do not like them or like living among them, but we hear Your Word clearly.

I will work for the peace and prosperity of the city where You have sent me. Bring peace and prosperity to my town and country. Bless the persons I work and live among! Amen.
