Intercede Always

By Andrew Williams

I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,
Ephesians 1:16 NLT

Good morning fellow disciples.

Intercede: to intervene between parties with a view to reconciling differences; to mediate; to plead on someone else’s behalf; or to intervene on behalf of another.

Do you have friends, family members, or fellow disciples that you are grateful for?

Are there persons that you have never met that you are grateful for?

Why are you grateful for them? Is it because of what they have done for you or others? Is it because of the life that they are living? Are you grateful for them because they are serving the Lord?

How do show your gratitude? How do you show your love and appreciation for them?

Do you intercede for them the way Paul did?

Prayer: Father God, I am so grateful for those who have decided to serve You wholeheartedly. Because of them Your Kingdom is advancing here on earth.

That’s why like Paul says in Ephesians 1:15‭-‬19 MSG, I can pray : “That’s why, when I heard of the solid trust you have in the Master Jesus and your outpouring of love to all the followers of Jesus, I couldn’t stop thanking God for you—every time I prayed, I’d think of you and give thanks.

But I do more than thank. I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength!”
Amen.
