“As for me, I will certainly not sin against the Lord by ending my prayers for you. And I will continue to teach you what is good and right.
1 Samuel 12:23 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
It is our job and privilege as intercessors to pray for people. We are the ones who can intervene on behalf of those who need to be reconciled to God.
As mediators we present what Jesus wants persons to hear, and pray for those who need God. We plead on behalf of fellow disciples and sinners, and we intervene on behalf of those who are coming under judgement.
According to Revelation 1:6 NLT – “He has made us a Kingdom of priests for God his Father. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.”
As God’s priests we need to mediate between God and man. If we are not fulfilling this role, we are sinning against God.
Ponder that! We sin against God if we do not intercede for others!
Prayer: Father God, sometimes it’s difficult to be an intercessor, especially for persons who are continually sinning against You. Honestly God, it’s downright frustrating!
But, as I redirect my focus to You and Your WORD, I will be obedient to You. I will not stop interceding on behalf of both my fellow disciples and sinners.
Because I love You Lord, I will faithfully intercede for mankind. Thank You for granting me this privilege. It’s an honor to be used by You to reconcile mankind to You.
For everyone who has ever listened to or read these devotionals, I ask You to daily reveal Yourself to them, give them encounters with You, save them, deliver them, heal them, and baptize them with Your Holy Spirit and fire! Bless them and make them blessings to everyone that they encounter, in Jesus name. Amen.
