Good morning fellow disciples.
God will listen to you! Yesterday we looked at what we needed to do in order to get God to listen to us. He gave us the directions, all we need to do is follow them. God is faithful to His promises. The preceding verses give the background to this promise.
For this is what the Lord says: “When 70 years for Babylon are complete, I will attend to you and will confirm My promise concerning you to restore you to this place. For I know the plans I have for you” — this is the Lord ’s declaration — “plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:10-11 HCSB
God already had things planned out: restoration, His children’s welfare and a bright future for them. But this plan was time sensitive and at the appointed time , when the Israelites prayed to Him, He would hear their prayers and listen to them. And true to this prophetic promise God did restore the Israelites.
Are you praying for God to show up in your situation? If you are doing all that He has said to do, then rest assured that He is listening to you! The answers that you need will come. Sometimes they are time sensitive. Just trust God and keep fellowshipping with Him. He is an on time God ! The answer will come just at the right time.
Prayer : Father God, I trust You to keep your promises! I will wait for you. I continue to worship You and to live for You, and to make disciples until you return. Amen.
