I Wait For You All Day Long

Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long.
Psalms 25:5 HCSB


Wait is defined as: To stay; not to depart;
To stay proceedings, or suspend any business, in expectation of some person, event, or the arrival of some hour
;To stay or rest in expectation; to stop or remain stationary, till the arrival of some person or event.

WOW!

Today we use all three definitions previously used. When we are seeking to learn from God we need to pay full attention to Him.

“Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; I wait for You all day long.” Psalms 25:5 HCSB

Lord, this is my commitment to you:

I will stay in Your presence, and I will not depart until You teach me all that I need to know.

I will stay all proceedings, and suspend all business so that I can FOCUS on You.

I rest in expectation and stay stationary so that I can learn at Your feet.

Prayer: Lord I desire and the crave intimate fellowship with You. I wait for You all day long. I rest in expectation, putting all else aside, and stay in Your presence.

I know Lord that You will guide me in Your Truth and You will teach me. I am Your humble disciple, willing to learn, willing to get to know You and then live my life fully surrendered to You. Amen
