“Have the people of Israel build me a holy sanctuary so I can live among them. Exodus 25:8 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
God wants to live among His people. But our Holy God needs a Holy sanctuary.
When God delivered the children of Israel from Egypt, He performed many miracles through Moses and Aaron. God appeared on the mountain before all Israel, but they were so terrified of His voice and His fiery appearance on the mountain top that they asked Moses to be their intermediary.
They wanted God to be far away, but God wanted to be among them. These people were still sinful, so they could not stand to be in the presence of a Holy God. God wanted to transform their lives by being with them.
He needed a “set apart place”, a Holy place so that He could reside with them.
Have you built a Holy sanctuary that God can live among you?
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 NLT -Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, [20] for God bought you with a high price. So you must honor God with your body.
Are you a holy sanctuary? Can God, is God living in You?
