Grace and peace to you from the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come; from the sevenfold Spirit before his throne; and from Jesus Christ. Revelation1:4b-5a
Good morning fellow disciples.
As we begin this New Year, let us be reminded that our God loves us. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit has our best interest at heart.
They extend their grace and the peace to us.
Grace: unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification.
Peace: freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions; harmony in personal relations.
In this era, we know that God the Father and God the Son are residing in heaven. It is God the Holy Spirit who is present with us here on earth. For those of us who have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, His Holy Spirit lives within us.
It is through Him that we receive grace. He is the one who gives us the Godly assistance that regenerates us and sanctifies us. It is God’s Holy Spirit who gives us peace within from the oppressive thoughts and emotions that would assail us.
Do you know anyone who is in need of God’s grace and peace?
Invite them to have a relationship with God where they have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, so that God’s Holy Spirit can come and live within them.
Prayer: Almighty God, thank You for Your grace and peace. Without it, we would not be able to live the lives that You have ordained us to. We are eternally grateful, Lord, for the unmerited favor that You have shown towards us.
Continue to bless us, and continue to use us to spread the gospel, so that others can receive Your grace and peace. Amen
