1 Peter 2:9 NLT -But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
Good morning fellow disciples.
We are God’s own!
We are a chosen people! We are Royal Priests! We are a holy nation! We are God’s own possession, His church!
Isn’t that marvelous?
Because we are God’s own, we can show others the goodness of God. What an awesome responsibility and privilege!
Once we were lost, but He has called us out of darkness, into His marvelous light. We are redeemed!
Let us preach His gospel so that others who are in the darkness can come into this marvelous light and be God’s own possession!
Prayer: Father God, thank You for making us Your own possession. We love You, Lord. As Your royal priesthood, we will go into the world to proclaim Your gospel so that others can come out of the darkness into Your marvelous light! Amen.
