There was a certain man from Zorah, from the family of Dan, whose name was Manoah; his wife was unable to conceive and had no children. The Angel of the Lord appeared to the woman and said to her, “It is true that you are unable to conceive and have no children, but you will conceive and give birth to a son. Now please be careful not to drink wine or beer, or to eat anything unclean; for indeed, you will conceive and give birth to a son. You must never cut his hair, because the boy will be a Nazirite to God from birth, and he will begin to save Israel from the power of the Philistines.”
Then Manoah asked, “When Your words come true, what will the boy’s responsibilities and mission be? ” The Angel of the Lord answered Manoah, “Your wife needs to do everything I told her. She must not eat anything that comes from the grapevine or drink wine or beer. And she must not eat anything unclean. Your wife must do everything I have commanded her.”
So the woman gave birth to a son and named him Samson. The boy grew, and the Lord blessed him. Then the Spirit of the Lord began to direct him in the Camp of Dan, between Zorah and Eshtaol.

Good morning fellow disciples.
Do you love God? Do you want to be used by Him to effect change in your world? Are you willing to follow His instructions so that someone else will become great?
In this passage we see God giving Manoah’s wife specific instructions to obey during the pregnancy and how to grow up the child. She obediently followed God’s instructions.
Who do you love? Is it your child, family member, church member, disciple, or neighbor? What are you willing to do so that they are prepared to be used by God?
Sometimes God does not give us the full picture as to why He asks us to make certain sacrifices so that another person can rise to prominence. When Manoah asked the angel what the boy’s mission would be, all the Angel said was that Manoah’s wife should do as instructed.
Are you willing to do as God instructs even when you can’t see the bigger picture?
Prayer: Father God, I know that I have been put here for a purpose. Sometimes it’s only to make someone else greater, but I will gladly follow Your instructions so that someone else can be the savior that You need to fulfill Your plans.
God, I will make a sacrifices so that my children, disciples, family members, church members and friends will become the persons that You need them to be. Amen
When we can’t see his hand trust his heart.
Who God foreknew he predestined. It’s best to trust him only that your purpose can be realized 💯😃👍
