God’s Instructions To Mary Magdalene

God’s Instructions To Mary Magdalene

Jesus said, “Mary.” Turning around, she said to Him in Hebrew, “Rabbouni!” — which means “Teacher.” “Don’t cling to Me,” Jesus told her, “for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to My brothers and tell them that I am ascending to My Father and your Father — to My God and your God.” Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord! ” And she told them what He had said to her.
John 20:16‭-‬18 HCSB

Good morning fellow disciples.

Jesus told Mary Magdalene to go to His brothers, and that she should testify to them as to what He had said to her and what she had seen.

She was the first to witness that Jesus Christ was risen from the dead. She was the first to testify that He was alive again. She was the first to confirm His word to His disciples that He would rise again on the third day.

Oh what an honor and privilege it must have been for Mary Magdalene!

Today we have that same honor and privilege to be witnesses for Jesus Christ. We have the honor and privilege of being His disciples. We have the honor to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God. We have the honor of telling the world and showing the world what it means to be saved, healed, and delivered from the kingdom of the devil.

Are you exercising that privilege? Are you honoring God by being a faithful witness of the Kingdom of God?

Let us go to the persons that God sends us to, being His faithful witnesses and proclaiming the gospel with signs and wonders following.

Prayer: Father God, thank You for placing Your Holy Spirit in us. Because of Him we can be faithful witnesses to the entire world. Help us to go boldly and proclaim Your Word to all who You send us to. Amen.

  1. May we seek renewal in our zeal and passion to spread The Good News of Jesus as we continue our journey as disciples.
