God’s Instructions To Martha

God’s Instructions To Martha

“Remove the stone,” Jesus said. Martha, the dead man’s sister, told Him, “Lord, he’s already decaying. It’s been four days.” Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God? ”
John 11:39‭-‬40 HCSB

Good morning fellow disciples.

When you have conversations with God do you listen to and hear Him?

Do you just hear what He says but don’t really comprehend?

Do you have the faith that is required to accept and believe His word to you?

When Jesus spoke to Martha about her brother Lazarus, He told her that he would live again. Her interpretation was that Lazarus would come to life again at the end of the age. But that’s not what Jesus said.

Then Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother wouldn’t have died. Yet even now I know that whatever You ask from God, God will give You.” “Your brother will rise again,” Jesus told her.
John 11:21‭-‬23 HCSB

Sometimes we are so used to interpreting what we hear that we don’t really listen to the exact wording. So many times God says things to us and if we would only listen and comprehend them as said, we would see miracles.

We need to take God at His Word and have faith that He will do as He says. Jesus said: Didn’t I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God? ”

We know that Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead thus revealing God’s glory in that situation. What situation are you in that you need to just believe and trust what God says?

Are your preconceived ideas, doubts, or unbelief keeping God from acting in your life?

I implore you today to:

Listen carefully to God!

Believe His word!

And,

Apply your faith and see Him act in your life!

  1. Today we need to remove the “stone”
Listen, meditate on the word of God and apply whatever he says to us by faith to experience our miracle.
