The word of the Lord came to Jonah son of Amittai: “Get up! Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because their wickedness has confronted Me.”

Then the word of the Lord came to Jonah a second time: “Get up! Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach the message that I tell you.”

Good morning fellow disciples.
How many times have you resisted obeying God’s instructions?
How many times did you try to run away from God when you did not like the instructions that He gave you?
How do you feel when God keeps giving you the same instructions over and over?
How do you feel knowing that God Almighty keeps on giving you multiple chances to obey His instructions?
Our God is loving! Our God is kind! Our God is forgiving! He not only wants to forgive you for your disobedience, but He wants to forgive everyone. Even when you have sinned, He gives you a chance to repent so that He can use you to bring His Word to others.
Isn’t that great!?
Our God can use anyone who is willing so that others can be saved, healed, and delivered. Our God can use you to change a whole nation.
Do you want to be used by God to bring salvation to others?
Are you willing to be used by God when He sends you to those that you don’t love?
When you backslide, will you repent so that God can use you once more?
Prayer: God, create a clean heart for me and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not banish me from Your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore the joy of Your salvation to me, and give me a willing spirit. Then I will teach the rebellious Your ways, and sinners will return to You. Lord, open my lips, and my mouth will declare Your praise.

Father help me to be obedient to you in every way even when it doesn’t make sense to me. In Jesus name. Amen
