Yahweh was standing there beside him, saying, “I am Yahweh, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your offspring the land that you are now sleeping on. Your offspring will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out toward the west, the east, the north, and the south. All the peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. Look, I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go. I will bring you back to this land, for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

Good morning fellow disciples.
Jacob was about to leave the land that had been promised to his grandfather Abraham, his father Isaac, and that is now promised to him.
God allowed him to leave the land with the promise that He would be with him wherever he went to, and that He would bring him back to the land.
Many persons make preparations with their kids and their grandkids in mind. They buy land or start businesses so that their descendants can inherit them. Sometimes these descendants go away for a long time, but when they return they still have what is prepared for them.
How has your actions blessed your descendants?
Do you plan on following God’s instructions so that your descendants can be blessed?
Like Jacob, has God instructed you to leave what you know should be yours to go somewhere else?
Have you left what God has given you to go elsewhere? Was this done with the blessing of God? Is God with you where you are at and will He bring you back to that place where you need to be?
Prayer: Father God sometimes I see what You want for me. I want to step right into that promise, but sometimes You send me in the opposite direction. At times I don’t understand why You would do this, but I trust You God and I will obey You.
I know that You are faithful to Your promises! You will bring me to the place that I need to be so that I can fulfill Your plan for my life. I know You will be with me always and You will not leave me until You have done what You have promised me. Amen.
Amen and amen!! To God be the glory great things he has done.
We are blessed when we follow the steps of Christ and the footsteps of our Godly parents.
Glory to God! God is with us. He will keep his promise to bring our descendants back! Praise the Lord!
