Introduction: We continue our series on discipleship as taught and patterned for us by our Lord and Master Jesus Christ, looking at Jesus’ ministry to gain insights into the model of discipleship that He used to make The Father’s Kingdom known. This week we are looking at the incarnation of Jesus as reported in the book of Matthew.
Scripture: “Then Joseph, being aroused from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took to him his wife,” Matthew 1:24 NKJV
Insight: JOSEPH OBEYED GOD IMMEDIATELY !
Prayer: Father God when You speak or direct us, help us to obey You promptly like Joseph did. As Your children we have the responsibility to go and make disciples. Help us to be faithful like Mary and Joseph who fulfilled their roles in advancing Your kingdom. I humbly ask this in Jesus’ Name, amen.
