O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved. My praises are for you alone!
Jeremiah 17:14 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Praise is defined as: the expression of respect and gratitude as an act of worship; and to glorify (a god or saint) especially by the attribution of perfections.
Where are you seeking your healing? To whom do you go for deliverance? Who do you seek salvation from?
If you are sick and you go to the doctor, does his medication truly heal you?
If you are in debt and you go to the bank does their loan truly save you from your poverty?
Do you praise these persons who help you with your infirmity, and who save you from your situations?
In this verse Jeremiah speaks the truth of the ages: “O Lord, if you heal me, I will be truly healed; if you save me, I will be truly saved.” It is only God who can truly heal you! It is only God who can truly save you from all your situations! It is only God who can give you eternal life!
Shouldn’t we, therefore, praise God ALONE!
Prayer: Father God, all my faith is in You. All my trust is in You. Only You can save me! Only You can truly heal me! Only You can deliver me from the captivity of the devil! I praise You, and You, ALONE! Amen.
