Scripture: I love the Lord , because He has heard My voice and my supplications. Psalms 116:1 NKJV
Observation: God hears my voice and my supplications. God listens to me!
As I read this passage my spirit leapt for joy. This is because of the realization that God is not far away, but He’s actually near and listening to me. No matter what I’m going through I will be at peace and be confident because I know that I am not alone. I can speak to my God and be comforted and delivered by Him.
What a joy it is to know that the God that I serve actually listens and hears my voice.
Application: I will continue to speak confidently to God because I know He is listening.
Prayer: Father God thank you for paying attention to me and for hearing my ever cry and my every praise. HELP ME IN RETURN TO LISTEN TO YOU AND TO BE OBEDIENT TO YOU. I ask this in Jesus’ Name, amen.
Great. Persons need to know and/or reminded that God listens to and answers us.

It is so reassuring to know that we can trust God to listen and to act on our behalf.
Hallelujah! What an assurance that our God listens, even when He is silent. We only patiently wait and trust His timely answer.
