God Is My Keeper

By Vanessa Rose – March 24, 2021

Scripture : ” Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, 25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.” Jude 24-25 KJV 24

Insight : Many people, especially in our culture, when asked to give their lives to God will reply that they are afraid they will fall. They will have stories of many persons they have witnessed come into the body of Christ, commit sin and return to a life of sin abandoning the church. This drives others to say if I can’t stay in I won’t go in. This is a wrong way to look at things as the above scripture clearly outlines that God and only God is able to keep us from falling or sinning.

There is no man able to save or keep himself from sin. The bible tells us that ALL have sinned. What then makes the difference? There are some who allow God to keep them and others who try to keep themselves and when they fail, they believe it is a sign that they should return to sin completely. Today, know that IF you are desiring to serve God and become a disciple He is able to and He WILL keep you.

Prayer : Father I thank You that You are the keeper of men. I am grateful for the reminder that in my own might I am a failure but if I trust you to keep me, I can withstand sin and serve you. Help me to release these thoughts from my mind of failing and to give myself over to becoming a true disciple so You can preserve me as Your word says. Amen.

Have a great day
