God Blessed Wait

By Andrew Williams

Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore He rises to show you compassion, for the Lord is a just God. Blessed are all who wait for Him. Isaiah 30:18 BSB
God Blessed Wait

Good morning, fellow disciples.

Wait is defined as: “to remain stationary in readiness or expectation.”

The Lord longs to be gracious to you. He wants to pour out favor unto you that you do not deserve. He is seeking opportunities to bless you. Our God is a just God, and He will reward us for the things that we do that are pleasing to Him.

Do you remain stationary in readiness and expectation that the Lord will be gracious to you? As a disciple of Christ, you know that God gives us what we ask in the name of Jesus.

Do you come to Him in faith and place your petitions before Him? Do you walk with Him in faith and proclaim His gospel with signs and wonders following? Do you make disciples in faith who will in turn make other disciples?

If you are doing these and you are waiting on God, God will bless you! As you do the will of God, joyfully and faithfully, expect that you will be blessed and that you will be a blessing to others.

Prayer: Father God, thank You for pouring out Your grace on me. Thank You for looking for opportunities to show me favor. Thank you, Lord, for blessing me because I am waiting expectantly for You. Thank You for giving me Your Holy Spirit, who is the greatest blessing I have ever received.

As Your child, I walk in agreement with Your Holy Spirit to advance Your kingdom here on earth. As you bless me, make me a blessing to others. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen.
