Dear friend, I hope all is well with you and that you are as healthy in body as you are strong in spirit.
3 John 1:2 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
The World Health Organization defines health as: “a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity”. We should also add spiritual well-being to this.
According to this definition, are you healthy? Are you in a state of complete physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being?
Can you really be healthy?
John’s prayer and hope was for his friend to be healthy in body, just as he was strong in spirit. John knew that accepting Jesus Christ as Lord, and living surrendered and submitted to God makes us spiritually healthy. His concern was about his friend’s physical health.
If you are not feeling well today, remember that we are redeemed by Jesus Christ! His sacrifice also paid for our health.
He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you are healed.
1 Peter 2:24 NLT
Prayer: Lord Jesus, because of You we can be healthy. Not only can we be free of disease and infirmity, but we can have the peace that You bring: spiritual peace, peace of mind, and peace in our interactions.
I give thanks to You Lord Jesus, for the health that I have. I may not have complete well-being in all areas of my life, but I am grateful! I thank You for giving me knowledge, wisdom and understanding so that I can do the things that will improve my health.
1 Peter 2:24, tells me that by Your wounds I AM healed. I believe this, Lord!
I am healthy! Make my spirit strong in You God! And, may my body be as strong and healthy because You Lord God have healed me. Amen.
Amen and Amen
Àmen. Amen amen. Thanks bro.
