Good morning fellow disciples.
Do you remember the day when you found out that you were going to be a mom or dad?
Do you remember the first time that you saw your child or held him or her in your hands?
Do you remember their first word, first step, or first smile?
Do you remember how unconditionally they loved you?
Many of us doubted that we would become parents. For some of us it was difficult to conceive. Some of us only have one child while others have many. Whatever our situation, the Word of God says that children are a gift from God.
How grateful are you for this gift that God has given to you?
Do you thank Him daily for blessing you with your child/children?
Prayer: Father God, words fail me. I can’t find enough words to tell You thanks. I don’t think there are enough words, or the right words to say how grateful I am for You blessing me with my child! You have rewarded me with this precious gift {even though I don’t deserve it}.
I am grateful beyond measure! Thank You for my child! Amen.
