Give Thanks for God’s Creation

Then God said, “Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offspring of the same kind—livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and wild animals.” And that is what happened. God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to produce offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.

Good morning fellow disciples.

Take a moment to look at all the living things around you: the plants, the animals, and other human beings. Look at the rivers, streams, oceans, mountains, anything that is not man-made. Aren’t they all beautiful?

When you look at God’s creation what comes to mind?

Are you in awe of how magnificent His creations are?

Do you recognize how beneficial all His creations are to you?

Do you give thanks that He gave us dominion over all His creations? Do you give thanks that He considered us worthy to take care of His precious creation?

Prayer: Father God, thank You for Your creation! Plants and animals provide food for us. We can utilize some of Your creations for clothing and for shelter. Everything we create comes from something that You originally created.

When we look at Your creation we recognize Your greatness. When we are tired or stressed out we can find peace and rest by just basking in the beauty of the things that You created.

Father God, we cherish Your creations. Without them this world would not be the beautiful and wonderful place that it is. We thank You God, we thank You God for placing us into such a wonderfully created world. Amen.
