‘God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church. ‘Ephesians 1:22
Good morning fellow disciples.
Paul’s prayer for the church at Ephesus was that they would understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for all of us who believe in Him.
It was God’s power that raised Christ from the dead. It was God’s power that place Christ in the position of honor at His right hand in the heavenly realms.
Because of God’s power, Christ is far above any power, authority, or leader or anything else, not only in this world, but in the world to come. It is this same Christ that is the head of the Church.
With God’s power and Christ as the head over everything, including the church, how can we not benefit from the love and grace of God?
With Christ as the head and us as the body, we exercise the power of God in this world and the world to come. Oh, what an awesome benefit to be a part of the body of Christ!
Prayer: Father God, thank You for placing Christ in the premier position of authority over everything. Because He is the head of the Church, we benefit from everything that comes from You. Amen.
