Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. Galatians 5:25 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Are you living by the Spirit? Are you following the Holy Spirit’s leading?
Lead definition: to guide on a way especially by going in advance, or to cause (a person or animal) to go with one by holding them by the hand, a halter, a rope, etc. while moving forward.
Follow: act according to an instruction.
By virtue of these definitions “following the Spirit’s leading” means that we are not in charge. He is the one who directs! He is the one who holds our hands!
We need to act according to His instructions. We need to stay on the path He directs! We must not pull away from Him.
Note that we need to follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in EVERY part of our lives!
Do you want to be like Jesus? Do you want to obey Father God in all things? Do you want to preach the gospel and do miracles like Jesus did? Do you want to be an effective Kingdom citizen?
If your answer is yes, then: You must follow the Holy Spirit’s leading!
Prayer: Father God, I now understand that the only way to live like Jesus, and to be His effective disciple is to follow Your Spirit’s leading.
I will follow wholeheartedly! Amen.
