Find

“You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13 HCSB

Good morning fellow disciples.

Yesterday we looked at seeking and searching for God. Today we will look at one possible outcome of our search, which is, finding something.

Find : to come upon by searching or effort.

Even though you can accidentally find something, in this verse we see that God wants you to make an effort to find Him through actively searching for Him. This entire verse points to you being purposeful in your fellowship and relationship with God. He wants you to desire Him, seek Him, search for Him and not just leave everything up to Him.

God has provided everything that you need to be in right relationship with Him. He provides ways of escape when you are tested. He provides salvation/deliverance when you are held captive by enemies. All He wants is for you to desire Him and His provisions, and for you to actively seek Him !

Will you put out the effort to ‘find’ Him?

Prayer : Father God I will make the effort and purposefully seek You with all my heart. I will find You because I desire to be with You more than anything I can imagine. I love You Father! Bless my efforts and accept me back into Your loving arms, amen.
