And Jason has welcomed them into his home. They are all guilty of treason against Caesar, for they profess allegiance to another king, named Jesus.”
Acts of the Apostles 17:7 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Confess: to tell or make known; to give evidence of.
Are you a confessor?
What is it that you boldly make known?
Are you willing to stand up and give evidence of what you believe in, even at the risk of losing your life or livelihood?
Paul and Silas preached the gospel of Jesus in Thessalonica. They confessed that Jesus was the Messiah. Many Jews believed in Jesus Christ because of their confession, however, other Jews started a riot in an attempt to kill Paul and Silas.
When they didn’t find them, they arrested Jason instead. Paul and Silas were sent away that night in order to save their lives.
Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?
Have you accepted Him as your only King?
Do you confess Him as The True King?
Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are The True King! You are my King, my Lord, and my Savior! I will confess, make known, and give evidence of who You are to everyone I meet , and everywhere I go.
I will not be afraid of those who would choose to harm me because of my confession. I pray that others will come to know and accept You as their King because of my confession. Amen.
