You see, we don’t go around preaching about ourselves. We preach that Jesus Christ is Lord, and we ourselves are your servants for Jesus’ sake.
2 Corinthians 4:5 NLT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Confess: to tell or make known; to declare faith in or adherence to.
Have you ever listened to a conversation between Christians and come away from it wondering: “What do they really believe?”
Have you ever listened to sermons and wondered to yourself: “Where is God or Jesus in this?”
Have you ever looked at the lives of Christians and wondered: “Who is being glorified in their lives?”
Sometimes it is difficult to ascertain from conversations, sermons, or the lifestyles of Christians what they truly confess.
They don’t make Jesus known!
They don’t declare faith in Jesus or God!
And they do not preach that Jesus Christ is Lord!
As disciples of Christ, we need to confess Jesus!
Prayer: Jesus Christ, You are the Son of God! You are my Lord, Savior, and King! You redeemed us! Without You we would never have eternal life!
I will confess You in my conversations, my sermons, and by the lifestyle that I live! Amen.
