Acts of the Apostles 20:24 NLT – But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.
Good morning fellow disciples.
Wow! What a confession!
“My life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned to me by the Lord Jesus.”
What dedication! What commitment! What love for the Lord Jesus Christ!
Many of us start out saying that we are going to be totally committed to God, but we give up before our lives end. Some Christians believe that when they reach a certain age they should ‘retire’ from witnessing. However, we are called to be lifelong witnesses.
Our love for God and people makes witnessing a lifelong joy. Our lives mean nothing if we are not spreading the gospel and making disciples.
Are you using your life to finish the work assigned to you by Jesus of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God?
Don’t Stop!
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I will keep on being your witness as long as I am alive. My work of witnessing will not be complete until You call me home. Amen.
