Scripture : “Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” Psalms 95:6 NKJV
Observation : The call is to bow down in worship. We can bow down and worship anything or anyone. But this passage directs us kneel before the Lord our Maker. No one else is worthy of mankind’s worship!
When we bow down or kneel in worship it sends a very strong signal. The one or the thing that we bow to is greater or higher than we are. We usually do this to honor a king, a queen, or a god of some sort.
Who or what do you bow to? Is your worship to God our Maker marked with the worshipful stance of bowing down and kneeling before the Lord our Maker?
Application : I will lead other persons into the worship of the one true God.
I will accompany others as we all go to worship God.
I WILL WORSHIP AND BOW DOWN WITH OTHERS AS WE WORSHIP GOD OUR MAKER!
Prayer : Father God thank You for the opportunity, the privilege and the pleasure of fellowshipping with others as we bow down to worship You. It is always a pleasure to pray with my friends, family, and fellow believers. Thank You for giving me joy when I worship You in the congregation, and when I pray with others in public and in private. Help me not to neglect worshipping You with others and help me to encourage others to ” come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker”. Amen
Hallelujah… Give us grace to being there before you. We biw to you creator and King.
