However, if I were you, I would appeal to God and would present my case to Him.
Job 5:8 HCSB
Good morning fellow disciples.
Submit is defined as “present or propose to another for review, consideration, or decision.”
What are you troubled about? What are the deep desires of your heart? What is it that concerns you the most? Is there something that you would like to get an answer to? Whatever the case is, you need advice, and you need help, so who will you go to?
After Job had lost almost everything he was visited by a group of ‘friends’. Here we see Eliphaz offering Job some advice.
He says: “if I were you, I would appeal to God and would present my case to Him.”
God is the ultimate authority, and He can do miraculous things. He knows the answers to everything, and He knows just how to comfort us and to counsel us in our times of need.
When you have a case that you cannot handle or that you need help with, do you submit it to God?
Do you present your case to Him?
Do you ask Him to review your case?
Do you give your case over to Him for consideration and a final decision?
Many of us will never submit our case to God because we want to handle it on our own.
Many of us will only ever submit our cases to God when we have no other option.
However, I implore you today to submit whatever is on your heart to God. Having presented it to Him, let Him review it, consider it, and give you His decision on it. Then, do as God says, and your case will be resolved!
