Choices – Persuade Me

By Andrew Williams – September 25, 2021

Good morning fellow disciples. Today we continue to look at some choices that were made in the Bible.

To choose means: “to select freely and after consideration, to have a preference for, or to take an alternative”. The question that we always have to answer is this, ” When I am faced with a choice, what will I choose to do?”

Then Agrippa said to Paul, “Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily? ” Acts 26:28 HCSB

Paul had just shared his testimony with King Agrippa. We note that king Agrippa was familiar with the Jewish religion and that he knew of the sect called the Way ( Christianity) that Paul belonged to. Now after hearing Paul for the first time Agrippa said, “Are you going to persuade me to become a Christian so easily? ”

The New King James Version translates this verse as follows: Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.” Acts 26:28 NKJV
Paul almost persuaded Agrippa to become a Christian by telling him his testimony!

What are you waiting on?! Go tell your testimony! You could persuade someone to accept Jesus Christ as his/her Lord and savior! Be bold like Paul and be a witness for Jesus.

Prayer: Father God, I will be bold and tell my story. I ask You, Lord, by Your Holy Spirit in me to use my testimony to convict sinners. Holy Spirit, help them to repent and accept Jesus Christ as Savior and King, I pray, amen.
