The Seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name.”

Good morning fellow disciples.
Submit is defined as “to yield oneself to the authority or will of another”.
Jesus had appointed seventy disciples to go ahead of Him into the towns that He Himself would go. He told them what to expect and He instructed them to: Heal the sick who are there, and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near you.’ Luke 10:9 HCSB
Jesus gave them power and authority to do the things that He Himself was doing.
When the seventy disciples returned, they joyously proclaimed: “Lord, even the demons submit to us in Your name.”
That’s correct!
In the name of Jesus, demons will yield to your authority and will.
Why?
Because you believe in Jesus, and you are baptized by Him. Jesus said: “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;”

The choice is yours: will you exercise the authority and power that Jesus has given you over demons?
They will submit to you in the name of Jesus!
