Genesis 2:7 NLT – Then the Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. He breathed the breath of life into the man’s nostrils, and the man became a living person.
Good morning fellow disciples.
God made a body for man from the dust of the ground. But this body was not a living being until God blew the breath of life into man. With this breath of life, man received a spirit and a soul, and became a living being. Man became alive, like God, with thoughts, intellect and emotions.
The Spirit of God is the breath of God, and this is what He blew into man. Without the Spirit of God, man would not have come to life.
When the spirit leaves the body man dies:
James 2:26 TPT- For just as a human body without the spirit is a dead corpse, so faith without the expression of good works is dead!
Take a moment to focus on your breathing, and realize that without the Spirit of God, you would not be alive. Give thanks to Him!
Prayer: Almighty God, thank You for breathing the breath of life into us and making us alive. Amen.
