Simon’s mother-in-law was lying in bed with a fever, and they told Him about her at once. So He went to her, took her by the hand, and raised her up. The fever left her, and she began to serve them.

Good morning fellow disciples.
I just love the power that Jesus displayed in this passage. They told him about Simon’s mother, He held her by the hand, raised her up and the fever left her.
He didn’t pray! It doesn’t say that He said anything to her. He just held her hand, raised her up and she was made well. How awesome is that? How amazing is that?
Do you think that you can be like Jesus and do that?
Yes you can!
Hear the words of Jesus: “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. they will pick up snakes; if they should drink anything deadly, it will never harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.”
Mark 16:16, 18 HCSB
I believe what Jesus says!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I am your disciple. I pattern my life after Your teachings, commands, and the life that You lived. I want to live like You, act like You, and to be like You. What You say I can do, I will do!
Father God, in the name of Jesus I will lay hands on the sick and they will get well!
