Just then a man with an unclean spirit was in their synagogue. He cried out, “What do You have to do with us, Jesus — Nazarene? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are — the Holy One of God! ” But Jesus rebuked him and said, “Be quiet, and come out of him! ” And the unclean spirit convulsed him, shouted with a loud voice, and came out of him.
Mark 1:23-26 HCSB
Good morning fellow disciples.
Jesus had just finished teaching in the synagogue when this scene unfolded. A demon recognized who He was and started crying out for mercy. Jesus then spoke to him and told him to come out of the man. Then the spirit left the man.
Do you walk in God’s authority and do your exercise this authority over evil spirits the way that Jesus did?
Are you a disciple of Christ?
If you are, hear the words of Jesus: “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;” Mark 16:16-17 HCSB
If you are a baptized believer you too can cast out demons. So my question to you is this:
“Are you casting out demons?”
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I continue to seek to be like You. I am Your disciple, so I will be able to do all that You have taught me to do and empowered me to do. Your Holy Spirit lives within me.
I command evil spirits to leave and they will leave in Your Name! Amen
May God help us to reconnect to the source of empowerment so that we can minister with boldness in this troubled world.
May our minds n heart be open to The father expectations of us. To be bold in the spirit n Not afraid. Because he didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of love, power n a sound mind. Be bold for Good.
