Surely none who wait for You will be put to shame; but those who are faithless without cause will be disgraced.
Psalms 25:3 BSB
Good morning, fellow disciples.
Wait is defined as: “to remain stationary in readiness or expectation.”
God promises that none of us who wait for Him will be put to shame. Do you believe that?
The contrast is equally true, those who are faithless without cause will be put to shame. Do you believe that?
So, the question that you need to ponder is this: “Are you waiting on the Lord”?
Many will say yes but wait is an action word. You have to put into action your ability to remain stationary in readiness and expectation. Being still is not easy especially when you can see many different ways of fulfilling or achieving what you desire. To put aside our own desires to wait on the Lord is difficult.
Have you surrendered and submitted to God? Are you obediently fulfilling what He has placed on your heart? Are you able to wait? Are you truly able to wait on God?
If you wait on God, you will not be put to shame! Trust Him! Have faith in Him! Now, stay still in expectation that God will show up in your situation.
Prayer: Lord God, I am waiting! Amen!
