Good morning fellow disciples.
When you were growing up did you ever want to be a member of ‘that other’ family?
For whatever reason you realized that that other family had something to offer that your family didn’t. You wished that you could be their child or their sibling.
Today we have the opportunity to be a part of the greatest family! We can be a part of the family of God!
Through faith in Jesus Christ, we are granted the privilege of becoming children of God. This is not something we earn, but it’s a gracious gift extended to all who put their trust in Jesus Christ.
Have you put your trust in Him?
If you have, you have been adopted into the family of God! You have all the rights and privileges of a son of God!
Prayer: Father God, thank You for adopting us as Your children. May we live worthy of this sacred calling. We will embrace what it means to be Your children and live as true and perfect sons of God. Amen.
