And they asked Him, Why do the scribes say that it is necessary for Elijah to come first? [Mal. 4:5, 6.] And He said to them, Elijah, it is true, does come first to restore all things and set them to rights. And how is it written of the Son of Man that He will suffer many things and be utterly despised and be treated with contempt and rejected? [Isa. 53:3.] But I tell you that Elijah has already come, and [people] did to him whatever they desired, as it is written of him.

Good morning fellow disciples.
Transfigure: to change the appearance of a person or thing very much, usually in a very positive and often spiritual way.
Isn’t it great to be able to talk to Jesus? Some of you might say that Jesus will not be able to answer your question. Well, guess what, that’s why He sent His Holy Spirit to live within us. Holy Spirit is the member of the Godhead who is forever with us, so let us speak to Him.
The disciples had so many questions after witnessing Jesus’ transfiguration. I’m sure that you also have had many questions since you first became saved, and after the many other encounters that you’ve had with God.
Keep praying to God. Remember, prayer at its root is simply having a conversation with God.
Prayer: Father God, we have Your Holy Scriptures, we have the teachings and the example of the Lord Jesus Christ, and we have Your Holy Spirit living within us.
But God, there are so many things that we don’t understand. We therefore come to you and ask You to give us wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of Your Word and Your Kingdom. Amen
