“See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are!” (1 John 3:1)
Good morning fellow disciples.
In the book of 1 John, the apostle John affectionately refers to the church he was writing to as his “dear children.” John wrote to them about God, Jesus, and how to remain in God’s love. John did this because he loved them.
He then goes on to tell them that they are God’s children. Have you experienced the love of a father? How awesome was that father’s love?
In comparison the love of our Heavenly Father is unfathomable. That He would call us His own children is a profound truth that should fill us with awe and gratitude.
Let us embrace God’s love! After all, we are His children!
Prayer: Father God, we are Your children. Thank You for loving us and being our Father! Amen.
