‘It was like a dream come true when you freed us from our bondage and brought us back to Zion! We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness. We were left shouting for joy and singing your praise. All the nations saw it and joined in, saying, “The Lord has done great miracles for them!” Yes, he did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed!’
Psalms 126:1-3 TPT
Good morning fellow disciples.
Do you remember what it felt like to be bound by sin? Do you remember how it felt when you were in a backslidden state? Do you remember the shame, the lack of peace, the lack of joy, the confusion, the, the “everything bad” that you felt when you were away from God’s loving presence?
Do you remember the moment that you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, and you were set free from sin? Oh the joy, the peace, the freedom that was experienced in that moment! For the first time you knew what it was to be accepted by God and what true love felt like!
For those of you who then turned away from God and lived in a backslidden state, do you remember that moment that you repented of your sins and returned to God? In that moment when you were once again set free from sin’s hold over you and you got delivered from the bondage of the devil and his kingdom, how did you feel?
What was the response of your brothers and sisters in Christ when they saw how God delivered and freed you and brought you back home? My guess is that, well I don’t have to guess because I know what it is like to be set free from this type of bondage, and to see others set free also.
Prayer : It was like a dream come true when you freed us from our bondage and brought us back to Zion! We laughed and laughed and overflowed with gladness. We were left shouting for joy and singing your praise. All the nations saw it and joined in, saying, “The Lord has done great miracles for them!” Yes, he did mighty miracles and we are overjoyed!
Hallelujah ! Praise the Lord! Amen!
Yes! I remembered. Thank you Jesus for deliverance. Amen.
Hallelujah! I do remember. Glory to the Lord God for redeeming us from bondage and giving us new life of peace and joy. Hallelujah!
